How much would it cost to take my 2003 Chevrolet Trail Blazer to Chevrolet to change my engine?

New Engine!

Take to Chevrolet to change engine!|||If you elect to "have your engine changed" at the Chevy dealer, it will usually cost you 2-3 times more than anywhere esle, other than a dealership. If you already have the new/used engine and simply want to know the cost, well it's based on man-hours worked; it's usually $100 per hour (give or take), at the dealer. You will spend at least $2,000 just for labor. Most independent shops will get you a used or barely used engine and install it for that price. Make some calls and do your homework, then get it in writing before the work begins. Good luck!|||ive never known a trailblazer motor to go just makes noise when its cold the have teflon sleeve for cylinder linings around 100000 they knock but nothing is wrong just keep driving it if u blew it up find a used one if u can it will be alot cheaper and dealership around here only cost $70 an hour your only lookin at about a $1000 in labor and whatever the motor cost do some shopping jasper makes good motor (new) call junkyards yourself check online for motrs too ebay|||the thing is only 3 years old, why would you need to change the engine out?|||Call the dealership, they have a 'service fee book' and can tell you (how much they will charge you) without even seeing your Blazer.|||Your talking in the four or five thousand dollar range for a in-line aluminum 6 cyl engine complete. and that is a conserative figure.|||A lot.Find some good mechanics out there and they will do the same job way cheaper
