Is chevrolet suburban a good car to buy?

Hi everyone...

I want to buy a car. Chevrolet Suburban from 1996 and it only has 99,000 miles.

I do not know a lot about cars but do you think this is a good car, trust worthy or is it one of those models that will leave you in the midle of the highway? Also what about the pieces if they get broken, are they expensive to order?|||As good as any other and if a 1/2 ton 2wd model parts are not the high but gas will kill you. With gas the way it is those should be dirt cheap. less than 2k at least

rd|||Do you need it? Do you regularly carry a lot of passengers or cargo? Do you need its massive towing capacity? If not, go for something smaller.

My parents owned a '99 Suburban, purchased new. By '03 the A/C was getting a bit weak but no serious mechanical problems at about 55,000 miles. The one in question does have low miles considering its age, so mechanically it should hold up.

But in this day and age of skyrocketing gas prices, unless you need the brawn and extra capabilities of a Suburban, it's best to look at something smaller. If gas was cheaper, I'd have an easier time recommending it.

But if you need its abundant space and power, go for it.|||stay away from it, even if you can afford the truck, you probably won't be able to afford the insurance because it is an old car, and it's certainly not fuel efficient, you will probably spend $90 each time you need to fill up which would be every week probably|||It will break you up in gas.
